So I planted a rosebush and day lilly by the steps to the house. Then I decided to spread some cover crop seed instead of mulching around the rosebush. The combination of plants is doing extremely well as its on another round of roses, oats are headed, vetch is blooming purple, and BONUS green beans and peas to munch on!! It looks a little messy but plants are doing great and then so too the soil???!!!
